Q:Do you only offer family holidays?
A: No, our properties are suitable for families, couples and groups of golfers.

Q: How far away are the golf courses?
A: The Vale do Milho Golf Course is just a stone’s throw away from our properties on the Clube Golfemar complex. Penina and Palmares are 30 minutes drive away. Villamoura, 35 minutes drive, Quinta Do Largo and the world famous Vale Do Lobo around 40 minutes drive away, and these are just a few!

Q:How do I get from the airport to Carvoeiro?
A: We highly recommend that you book car hire before you travel, especially in high season. There are, however, car hire outlets in Faro Airport , or alternatively a taxi rank is outside the airport.

Q:What does Carvoeiro have to offer?
A: Carvoeiro has an excellent range of restaurants to suit all tastes, welcoming large or small parties, and catering for children. There are many bars in the town, many of which have their own live entertainment in the evenings. Carvoeiro offers at least three ice cream parlours, one of which sell delicious crepes, made to order.

Q:Do I have to drive to Carvoeiro?
A: Walking to the town takes about 30 minutes, which many visitors prefer to do. There is a local bus that runs from outside Rocha Brava several times a day into town. In the town square there is a taxi rank, with very reasonable rates.

Q:Where is the nearest shop or supermarket?
A: A mini market is open till late every day in the entrance to Rocha Brava. There are several other mini markets open in Carvoeiro town. There is also a large supermarket, "Intermarche", which is open daily till late, on the road to Lagoa, about 10 minutes drive away.

Q:Where is the nearest Doctor or Pharmacy?
A: There is a Pharmacy in the centre of Carvoeiro (with a very helpful English speaking Pharmacist to give advice.) There is also a Medical Centre above Smiler’s bar and another in Rua do Pescados.
